Description:

In the first decades of the 21st century, religions and religious understandings have shown themselves to be at the center of modern life. How is religion studied?  What are the challenges, issues, problems, and opportunities involved when we study human religious thought and behavior?  In recognition and response to this reality, GVSU created the Religious Studies Program in the Liberal Studies Department.  How will an REL major, minor, or a student just taking a course in this program, be better prepared as a 21st century World Citizen?  Representatives of the newly created Religious Studies Program will present views and answer questions.
