Basic Grantwriting
Learn the basics of grantwriting from the experts. Join other grant seekers in a four-hour workshop designed to give you an introduction to proposal development and tips on grantwriting language and writing styles. Participants are encouraged to bring an idea for a grant proposal so that this workshop can serve as an opportunity to get a jump start.
This training is approved for 3 social work continuing education credit (CEU) hours by Grand Valley State University School of Social Work, an approved provider with the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative-Provider MICEC-0004. Those requesting 3 social work CEUs will pay $15 at the door on the day of the training and will be mailed a certificate of completion.
This workshop will be facilitated by Diane Kimoto, Ph.D., Professor in the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration at GVSU and Matthew Downey, M.P.A., Nonprofit Services Program Director at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy.
