Breakfast with Lt. Governor Brian Calley
Date: Tuesday, May 10, 2011
Venue: Loosemore Auditorium, DeVos Center, Pew Campus (Grand Rapids)
Breakfast: 7:15 a.m.
Presentation: 7:55 a.m.
Brian Calley is the second youngest lieutenant governor in Michigan's history and part of Governor Rick Snyder's transformation team. The Seidman College of Business is pleased to welcome an alum to our stage.
Before being elected to his current position, Calley served two terms in the Michigan Legislature as a state representative. During this time he served as minority vice chair of the House Tax Policy Committee where he worked with lawmakers from both sides of the aisle.
In addition to the lecture, the Seidman College of Business and the Small Business Development & Technology Center will recognize the "Michigan Celebrates Small Business" award recipients from the West Michigan area who will have been honored in Lansing by governor Snyder in late April. We hope you'll join us as we congratulate these businesses on their success.
The breakfast event is in the Loosemore Auditorium of the DeVos Center on Grand Valley's Pew Grand Rapids Campus, 401 Fulton St. West. Breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m. and the presentation will start at 7:55 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Seating is limited.
