Workshop presented by Shirley Jallad, Professional Development Coach and Trainer
Assertiveness is a critical communication skill. Being assertive can help you gain the respect of others; boost your self-esteem; and reduce stress, anger, and resentment. This Assertive Communication workshop provides you information, tools, and practice time. You will learn how you can become more direct, if you tend to be passive or tone down your communication style, if you tend to be aggressive.
Along with assessing your own communication style, you will learn to:
·Ask clarifying questions
·Use “I” Statements to let others know what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling
· Say “No” respectfully
