Workshop presented by Kathleen VanderVeen, Director of Disability Support Services
This workshop reviews laws that provide protection from discrimination for individuals with disabilities and defines some key terminology used in those laws. It also explores communication methods with and about persons with disabilities, procedures for requesting accommodations, and the resources available here at Grand Valley.
