Guest Curator, Jay Belloli, will discuss the extraordinary variety of astronomical photographs that have been created from the early nineteenth century through the present, including key images of the Earth from space; images of our solar system; and images of stars, galaxies, and the universe beyond. He will also talk about the huge changes in technology that have created these photographs, and some of the breakthrough scientific discoveries these photographs have made possible, including the extraordinary advance in understanding of our place in the universe.
