Central Michigan University (CMU) is hosting an event on Wednesday 3/20/13 at 7 pm with Lilly Ledbetter, author, advocate and civil rights leader. She is widely recognized as the driving force behind the Fair Pay Restoration Act, an historic discrimination case that revealed the heinous injustice of years of unequal pay. 

Join us a for an evening of inspiration as GVSU students, faculty and staff take a trip to CMU to participate in this public address  with Ms. Ledbetter discussing discriminatory practices and ways to advocate for change.  Help make sure that fair pay is here to stay!  

The van from GVSU will depart from Kirkhof Center on the Allendale campus at 4:45 pm on Wednesday, March 20th in order to make it to CMU in time for the 7 pm event. The van will return to the Allendale campus after the event.
