Vince DiMartino is the Matton Professor of Music at Centre College. One of America's leading trumpet performers and teachers, DiMatino is the 2004 CASE Professor of the Year for the state of Kentucky and the recipient of the Governor's Lifetime Achievement Award for 2008-2009 (State of Kentucky). He has performed worldwide as a soloist and with artists such as Henry Macini, Doc Severinsen, Pearl Bailey, Dizzy Gillespie, and Dave Brubeck.

A member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Bill Lucas is an active member of the freelance, jazz and chamber music communities in Detroit. He has appeared as jazz soloist in many popular jazz clubs and nightspots in Vail, Colorado, as well as the Montreaux, Switzerland Jazz Festivals.
