Doug Rothwell is a senior executive for two Fortune 500 companies, who has served as a cabinet member of three state administrations. He has created or transformed business unites as diverse as economic development and real estate, to human resources and strategic planning in the banking, automotive and government sectors. Currently, Doug is President of Business Leaders for Michigan – a private, non-profit organization that promotes regional economic development and is composed of the Detroit region’s major corporate leaders. Prior, Doug was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. With all of his accomplishments the Seidman College of Business is pleased to welcome him as our guest speaker.
