Elizabeth is the Founder and Executive Director of Vanavevhu Children of the Soil, a non-governmental organization in Zimbabwe that works with children head of households (www.vanavevhu.org). She earned her Bachelor&rsquo;s in Political Science and Women&rsquo;s Studies and is currently completing her Master&rsquo;s in Women and Gender Studies at DePaul University in Chicago. Elizabeth&rsquo;s academic and professional interests are in African post-colonial political systems, post-colonial feminisms, and gender politics.\r\n
