This workshop is 2 hour on-water beginner class that will get participants safely in a kayak and paddling comfortably. GVSU Movement Science Professor Mark Crews will cover basic kayak/paddle design, safety gear and concerns, entering and exiting kayaks, basic paddle strokes focused on handling and efficiently moving the kayak and much more!\r\n
