	Dr. Morgan Schmidt of the Museu Paraense Em&iacute;lio Goeldi, Bel&eacute;m, Par&aacute;, Brazil will discuss the the Kuikuro people, part of the Xinguano Nation and how Dr. Schmidt&rsquo;s ethnoarchaeological landscape research over the last two decades has been carried out in collaboration with the Kuikuro to understand the history and pre-history of the Xinguanos. This research has revealed many surprises and helped reformulate our view of lowland indigenous peoples and the Amazon&rsquo;s past.\r\n
