DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:In many Asian cultures, the beginning of the year is based on the lunar calendar rather than the internationally accepted Gregorian calendar of Western culture. As such, the first day of the lunar month falls on February 10 of this year. To kick off Asian Heritage Month early, join Asian Student Union on January 31 in the Grand River Room in Kirkhof to celebrate Lunar New Year! This FREE festival will consist of various entertaining performances, including cultural and modern dances, martial arts demonstrations, a lip sync, and a traditional lion dance.\r\n
\r\n
We'll be giving out RAFFLE PRIZES, FREE treats and FREE traditional Asian cuisine at the show. Bring your friends and family to celebrate the Year of the Snake. We hope to see you there! \r\n
