According to the NASPE PETE standards all physical education majors should be able to\r\n
demonstrate the following:\r\n

Physical education teacher candidates are physically educated individuals with the\r\n
knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate competent movement performance and\r\n
health-enhancing fitness as delineated in the NASPE K-12 Standards.\r\n

Physical Education Majors (K-12 Emphasis) will be required to complete the Fitnessgram\r\n
assessment each academic school year. The HR components include; aerobic fitness,\r\n
