FOCUS 2 is an online, personalized career and education planning system based on established career and counseling principles. It allows students to engage with their liberal arts education by providing insight and action steps through the thorough assessment of their interests, values, personality, skills, and leisure activities. This one hour program provides students with valuable personal and career insight that enables them to more fully engage not only in their career exploration, but with the University as a whole. This program will focus on helping each participant to identify/integrate the value of their liberal education with preparation for a career or profession. \r\n

Program's Learning Objectives:\r\n
1. Foundation and Skills for Lifelong Learning: Upon completion of the program, participants will identify their Career and Educational Goals, Academic Strengths, and their Personal Development Needs\r\n
2. Foundation and Skills for Lifelong Learning: Upon completion of the program, participants will analyze occupations and career paths that match their personal characteristics\r\n
3. Critical Thinking: Upon completion of the program, participants will learn to integrate interests, values, personality, skills, or leisure activities that facilitate their career and educational planning
