	Grand Valley State University is proud to host the \r\n

	Michigan University Model Arab League \r\n
\r\n
	in conjunction with the National Council on US-Arab Relations, League of Arab States Information Center and The Mosaic Foundation\r\n
\r\n

\r\n
	This three-day event will promote student leadership development, while simulating the political process of The League of Arab States.\r\n
\r\n
	Students from universities all over Michigan (and beyond) will form councils and debate issues - just as the Arab League does. The councils that the students will form are: Joint Defense, Palestinian Affairs, Political Affairs, Social Affairs, Economic Affairs and a Court of Justice.\r\n

	Dr. Lawrence Davidson, a history professor from West Chester University, will be our keynote speaker for the event.\r\n
