Come learn about the rapidly growing recreational activity known as Geocaching. Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunting game played using a handheld GPS. With over 1.4 million active geocaches hidden worldwide, you more than likely pass by multiple each day without knowing it.
Participants will first meet for a short classroom portion to learn about geocaching specifics/ etiquette. After an overview of the activity we’ll head outside to learn how to use the GPS units while find your first geocache(s).
Due to limited equipment & classroom space registration is required.
You must be a GV student or staff to register. Please contact the Climbing Center if you would like to register family members.
