Join us this summer for a 3-part seminar series commited to challenging your knowledge and practice of sustainable eating. The Student Food Pantry partners with the Campus Farmers Market to offer individuals an opportunity to learn more about the foods we eat, how they grow and what our efforts can do for our local community. Campus Farmer's Market starts June 8th and continues EVERY Wednesday throughout the summer months on Allendale's Campus. The Women's Center can provide students with paid vouchers ($5.00) to gain access to fresh and local produce direct from West Michigan farmers. Additionally, the Student Food Pantry will host one seminar a month to engage participants in conversation around various topics of sustainable eating, starting with Levi Gardner at the Sustainable Agriculture Project. The Summer Seminar Series presenters and topics may be subject to change, and each month the location will be different. ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND, but space may be limited.
