Based on a true story, Pan Am 103 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, and 270 people lost their lives. An American mother meets the women of Lockerbie as she roams the hills looking for anything belonging to her son. The Scottish women want to wash the clothes of the dead and return them to the victim's families. This play is a poetic drama about the triumph of love over hate and is a winner of the Silver Medal in the Onassis International Playwriting Competition and the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays award.
