War of the Writers is a prose-slam held annually by GVSU's English Society, that features dramatic readers from the works of two authors. Anyone and everyone is welcome to perform at the event. This years authors are The Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen. Those looking to perform can bring their own selection of 400 words or less from any work from either author, or choose one of the pre-selected pieces that will be available. Come to perform or come to listen. There will be some refreshments provided, and this event is LIB100 approved.
