Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I learned how to use the Archtics Ticketing System. This will help me in the future if I decide to go into ticket sales. Patience, communication and mental toughness is important in working in ticket sales. You have to learn to deal with rejection being an Account Executive. Making phone calls and being told no or simply being hung up on requires toughness in my opinion.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Being involved in the youth basketball camps was is one of my favorite part of this experience. I love the feeling of helping the youth and influencing them to be the best athlete's they can be. I liked helping out with the players practices and being interactive with the players and coaches.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

This experience has had a great influenced on my future goals. It has helped me gain experience in ticket sales. I now know what is expected in this field. Helping out with the players practice has also influenced my future career goals. I can see myself being an equipment manager for a professional team. I would also strongly encourage everyone to look into getting an internship out of state. It gives you more opportunity to open more doors and connect with even more people.
