Description of the Organization
Array of Engineers is a small engineering business located in Grand Rapids. There are around 20 employees in total. They provide engineering products and services, mostly in embedded systems.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
The tasks that I was assigned to do was to write software tests, find bugs in a system, and building products.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned how to test a program, specifically by having MC/DC for a given schematic. I got to see how software tests were implemented and all the different parts of testing a system.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was being able to go to a customer's site and perform a "Worst Case Analysis" test on hardware with an oscilloscope.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I have been able to narrow down what I like and do not like in embedded systems, I know what kind of job I would like to work in the future.
