Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

I took charge of this exciting project involving the development of a new machine for producing Dodge Durango tail lights. Using AutoCAD, I crafted the electrical prints and organized the control panel layout. Following that, I handled the wiring of the control panel and created the PLC program, ensuring seamless machine operation by programming the HMI screen. As an additional measure, I incorporated Keyence vision systems into the project to elevate quality control and establish a secure work environment.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

This hands-on experience has been a tremendous learning opportunity, allowing me to acquire valuable skills and knowledge in project leadership and management. I honed my proficiency in designing electrical and pneumatic prints using AutoCAD, bringing precision and creativity to technical aspects. The hands-on execution of control panel wiring provided practical insights into electrical work, while the development of the PLC program and programming of the HMI screen elevated my proficiency in automation and programming. I gained insights into ensuring operator safety by utilizing safety PLCs, safety relays, and light curtains. Additionally, I delved into the workings of Keyence vision systems and successfully implemented them. In sum, this project significantly expanded my skill set in project coordination, technical design, and the seamless implementation of automation solutions.
