Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies abroad for at least four weeks. Only Pell Grant recipients are eligible for the award. Learn more.

Five GVSU Students Earn Competitive Gilman Scholarships for 2014

Five Grand Valley State University students have earned nationally competitive scholarships to study abroad through the Benjamin A. Gilman International program for the winter 2014 semester.  The students received a combined total of $20,000 in scholarship money.

Students Receive Competitive Gilman Scholarships to Study Abroad

Twelve Grand Valley State University students recently received scholarships to study abroad through the Benjamin A. Gilman International program. Students received a combined total of $40,000 in scholarship money. Grand Valley remains a top producer of Gilman Scholars nationally.

Students win nationally competitive awards for study abroad

Many Grand Valley State University students have been awarded nationally competitive scholarships that will help them study and work abroad.  In total, eight students were given awards. Each of them worked with the Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships to apply for the awards.
