2012 - Realizism
His posh McMansion foreclosed, his cushy job outsourced, and his marriage on the skids, Jake Stemple is forced to uproot his pampered family from the suburbs. Jake and family move to the thick of the urban jungle, where they're welcomed by a latter-day Robin Hood who helps them uncover a vast real estate conspiracy. Mitch Nyberg directs this comic tale about home foreclosure, a twenty-four-carat bird bath, and the true meaning of downward social mobility. Crewed by GVSU Film & Video Production students, the 31 minute film will premiere in spring 2013.
