Background on the NEW GE Program

Over the last several years, the General Education Committee has been reviewing and evaluating national curricular innovations. The central question is: "How should GVSU best prepare our students to lead productive, intellectual lives in the 21st century?"

We have gathered curriculum resources for the Grand Valley community to consider and discuss as we move forward in making changes to our General Education Program.  We've also posted readings about the national conversation about General Education reform.
 

Revisions to the General Education Program were approved by UAS on January 27, 2012.
