Coffee consumers are increasingly interested in how the coffee they drink impacts the livelihoods of coffee farmers and their environment. Mr. Treter will present “Connected by Coffee: The future of Fair Trade,” including video of his recent work with women who farm coffee in the Congo.
Chris will also discuss OntheGround’s work to help farmers across the globe, their next fundraising event, Run Across Congo and how it will support women's economic empowerment projects in the region the UN has deemed the most dangerous place in the world to be a woman.
