John H. Batts

John (Jack) Batts is an original "Land Baron" member and a longtime supporter of Grand Valley State University downtown development. He graduated from Purdue University and was the chairman of the family-owned business, Batts Inc., a manufacturer of garment hangers that was sold in 1999. He is the chairman of The Batts Group, Ltd. The group includes Belfry Development Corporation, a real estate development and management company. Jack currently serves on the Grand Valley University Foundation Advisory Cabinet.   Back to Foundation Leadership.
