Dr. Vanderburgh is the Associate Provost of Graduate Academic Affairs and Professor of Health and Sport Science at the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH. An exercise physiologist, his research in allometric modeling of human performance has impacted the way the United States Military assesses both occupational and health-related fitness. Dr. Vanderburgh holds a bachelors degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a doctorate in applied physiology from Columbia University.
