Central Contractor Registration

Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is the official, FREE on-line registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. CCR collects, validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency acquisition and award missions. CCR can now be accessed through the System for Award Management (SAM) webpage, which is a new webpage created to consolidate all federal procurement systems.

Grand Valley State University has a current registration with the CCR.  The Office of Sponsored Programs monitors this registration and renews it annually. 

An individual Principal Investigator does NOT need to register with the CCR.

Beginning in August 2011, the CCR will now be checked at the time of every Grants.gov application submission.
