Jenn has been a staff member at GVSU since 2005 and joined the Office of Graduate Studies in January 2008. She coordinates and supports the Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) Group, the Graduate Council Policy Subcommittee, and the PACES Advisory Board. For the PACES initiative, Jenn assists with program development, online content, workshop logistics and event promotion.

Jenn is responsible for the various department publications, including the Graduate Student Guidebook, Graduate Directors Handbook, the program for the Graduate Dean's Citations Awards, program for the Graduate Showcase, and the Office of Graduate Studies Annual Report.

In the Office of Graduate Studies, Jenn coordinates the department presence at events such as GradFest and Grad Club. She is the primary contact for graduate student issues and serves as the department contact for petitions for exception to university policies. Jenn assists faculty applying for Graduate Faculty Status and maintains the database of approved faculty. She also serves as the department's Thesis and Dissertation Coordinator.

The OGS is a designated unit on campus to report Bias Incidents. Jenn is approved as an Inclusion Advocate, a member of Allies & Advocates, and serves as the department liaison for issues relating to includion and equity. She is also charged with heading the Veteran's Iniative for the OGS.
