Space Grant and Fellowship Request for Proposals Announced

Grand Valley State University is an affiliate member of the Michigan Space Grant Consortium (MSGC), and a participant in fellowship and grant funding opportunities competitively offered through the consortium.  The deadline for MSGC proposals is Wednesday, November 18, 2015.

All applications are online for 3 categories of fellowships/grants:

  1. Research Seed Grants for faculty members to initiate new lines of scholarly activities.
  2. Fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students who will conduct research mentored by GVSU faculty.
  3. Program grants to support pre-college education, public outreach, and teacher training.

Last year, GVSU secured ~$34,000 in fellowship and grant support from MSGC.  Applicants' chances of success are maximized when they match their projects with the Mission of MSGC  and the strategic goals of NASA .

Proposals must route for internal GVSU approval by November 6, 2015, and be ready to submit by November 13, 2015. The Deadline for applications is November 18, 2015.
