Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved during your graduate career at GVSU. Below is current list of events offered through GSA:

  • GradClub, a time to grab a quick dinner and catch-up/meet with other graduate students across all disciplines, will be in the University Club/Graduate Student Commons (107C DEV) from 5 to 6 pm. See our Weekly Events for dates.
  • GradHub is a time to head out on the town and enjoy some time with your fellow graduate students. See our Weekly Events for dates. We meet at Z's Bar & Restaurant from 9 to 11 pm.
  • Grad Chamber is a group of graduate student representatives from each individual program/department that meet monthly to discuss issues within the graduate community at GVSU.  Go to GVSU Graduate Chamber for more information.
  • PACES Workshops: The PACES program workshops and events support you in pursuing your graduate degree and prepares you for real-world professional situations and environments - whether already working in your career or planning to soon. PACES professional development is a voluntary, co-curricular program designed to help graduate students gain non-disciplinary skills for success through, and beyond, their education. Past topics include critical conversations, cultural sensitivity, debt management/financial planning and optimizing your resume.
