Grand Valley photography and graphic design work at DeVos Place

In conjunction with Grand Valley State University’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the public is invited to attend a collaborative showcase of senior thesis work by students from the School of Communications and the Department of Art & Design.

“Bling! Flash! Art!” featuring work by 12 photographers and 10 graphic designers, will be on exhibit November 17 - December 11th, at DeVos Place Grand Gallery, 303 Monroe NW, in Grand Rapids.

The artists will welcome visitors during an opening reception, Thursday November 18th, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the DeVos Place Grand Gallery Balcony. The gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. 

Photography students participating include: Jessie Caron, Carol Dalrymple, Brittney Dickinson, Elizabeth Klueck, Nicole Lamson, Christina Mayer, Amanda Murphy, Krystal Rauwerda, Valentina Valdes, Sarah Truckey, Jamie Yeager, and Rosamaria Zamarron.

Graphic design students participating include: Alexandria Baszler, Chelsea Chandler, Patrick K. Cook, Elise Hans, Justin James, Hannah Nester, Ashley Osborn, Andrew VanderVeen, Debra Weststrate, and Alaina Woloszyn.
