WGVU to host concert and car show at Fifth Third Ballpark

WGVU will host a concert and classic car show that will benefit WGVU real oldies radio station 1480 AM and the West Michigan Whitecaps Inner City Youth Baseball/Softball program. The event will take place at the Fifth Third Ball Park Saturday, June 25.

A classic car show will begin at 5 p.m. and a concert featuring Michigan native and original lead singer of the band Rare Earth and The Eschelons will begin at 7 p.m.

The Grand Valley campus community is invited and staff members can receive up to four free tickets. Tickets can be picked up at the WGVU office in the Eberhard Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus or in the Human Resources office in Lake Michigan Hall on the Allendale Campus.

The event is presented by WGVU Real Oldies, West Michigan Whitecaps and Centennial Securities Company.
