Following the success of the grand opening of Grand Valley’s surplus store in downtown Grand Rapids, the store will hold its second sale event on April 12 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The surplus store provides the general public with a chance to purchase university inventory that’s no longer in use, including computers and peripheral equipment, TVs, office furniture, industrial equipment and more. The store is only open for special sale events, and does not have regularly scheduled hours.
The store is located at 140 Front St., across from the Bicycle Factory and next to Grand Valley’s L. William Seidman Center. Free parking is located next to the store in the Watson and Front Street parking lots.
The store was created as an avenue to responsibly manage Grand Valley’s purchased inventory that’s no longer in use.
Questions about inventory should be directed to the store at (616) 331-9072 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
