Vacation


Maintenance, grounds and service staff accrue .05 hours of vacation time for each regular hour worked during the first two full calendar years of uninterrupted service. Thereafter, an additional 8 hours (full-time) 4 hours (part-time) of vacation is added for each calendar year of uninterrupted service. Accrued vacation may be used after six months of employment.

The number of hours earned in any single calendar year shall not exceed one hundred sixty (160) hours (eighty (80) hours for part-time staff). Unused vacation may be carried over into the next calendar year providing the number of hours does not exceed the hours earned the preceding year.
