Personal Narrative:
Professor Price researches the social and cultural history of religion in America. Particularly, he is interested in the ways people use their religious identities to understand their identities as Americans. His dissertation explained how Methodists and Baptists in Missouri and Illinois contributed to the idea of America's heartland during the nineteenth century. In the classroom, Professor Price seeks to push students to understand how humans made decisions in the past as well as the outcomes of those decisions.
Professor Price is married to the most supportive and patient woman. He is also a proud father to their firstborn son!
