Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
I chose Grand Valley because it had a great academic tradition. I had a great opportunity through the Honors College to really build my critical thinking and leadership skills in a way I don't think I would have had anywhere else.

What was the highlight of your Grand Valley experience?
Getting involved with the ERP initiative, which is a fantastic program filled with very bright, passionate professors and students. I felt like a whole new world had opened up to me in terms of technology and business that led me to the career I am in now.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
Not only did I learn technical skills, but I also learned the reasoning, writing, and communication skills to implement those technical skills effectively in the work place.

How has Grand Valley helped you achieve your goals?
The Honors College stressed a broad set of skills in communication and leadership that I feel were essential in being successful in my first year at Accenture.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
I would recommend the Honors College to students who are looking for an opportunity to take advantage of Grand Valley being a large university and having so many different academic programs to choose from, but also desire that small classroom experience.
