CITI Training Program

Completion of this free, online research ethics training is strongly recommended by Grand Valley State University's Human Research Review Committee for all key personnel engaged in research.

Human subjects modules available:

  • Group 1 - Biomedical researchers and personnel

  • Group 2 - Social and Behavioral researchers and personnel

  • Group 3 - IRB members (for those serving on the Human Research Review Committee)

  • IRB Reference Resource - for ongoing, comprehensive access to all CITI training modules

The minimum passing score for each section is 80%.

NEW - Responsible Conduct of Research online training now available!

NSF funded research approved January 4, 2010 or later requires RCR training for all key research personnel by the project end date.

GVSU is currently developing a comprehensive RCR program - visit our website frequently for updates and additional information.

FIRST TIME LOG IN:

  • Go to www.citiprogram.org and click on Register Here

  • #1 Participating Institutions: select Grand Valley State University

  • You will be prompted to choose and answer a Security Question in case you forget your password.

  • Complete #2-7, click Submit

  • Click on Add a course or update your learner groups for Grand Valley State University

  • Select appropriate group (Question 1 for new CITI users; Question 2 for refreshers; Question 3 for RCR training)
