Emily Wiegand is the program manager of Philanthropic Services at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. She has most recently worked in the international relief and development arena where she managed a multimillion dollar portfolio of privately and publicly funded projects, and implemented a federal grant. She has experience in program management, grant acquisition, intercultural relations, and organizational management internationally and in the United States.
She holds a Master of Arts in philanthropic studies from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, a Master of Public Affairs in nonprofit business management from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Taylor University (Upland, IN).
