Bio
Robert Shalett is the director of communications at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Robert joined the Johnson Center in 2008 after having worked in marketing and publications for nonprofits for over 20 years, primarily in health care and philanthropic-related fields. Before joining the Johnson Center, Robert served in the marketing and/or communications departments at the Council on Foundations, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Psychiatric Association.
Robert graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in advertising and a minor in English.
