Tara Baker

Tara Baker is the philanthropy assistant at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. She is responsible for assisting the executive director in managing the daily functions of the Johnson Center.

 

Baker joined the Johnson Center in 2007 as the office coordinator. In 2009, she moved to the position of Community Research Institute unit coordinator and in 2012 moved to her current position. Prior to joining the Johnson Center she worked for 10 years in insurance and finance, and then owned two businesses.

 

Baker serves on numerous boards and committees.
