Volunteer opportunities in the Grand Rapids area include but are not limited to:

Mercy Health (formerly Saint Mary’s Health Care) 
There are various volunteer opportunities at Mercy Health.

Spectrum Health Visiting Nurse Association
Build relationships with patients in their home environment through options such as, Caregiver Relief, Shopping & Errands, or Friendly Visitor.

Oasis of Hope health center
Volunteer as a receptionist to greet clients and do basic clerical work. They also need help from those who have CNA certification. 

Odyssey Hospice
Provide companionship and support for patients by reading to them or writing letters for them. They may run small errands or give caregivers a brief respite by staying with the patient.

Holland Home and Faith Hospice 
Holland Home is Michigan’s largest non-profit provider of senior services. Holland Home has three assisted living campuses and also provides hospice services through Faith Hospice. 

Catherine’s Health Center 
Catherine’s Health Center is a free clinic practicing family medicine. Offering screening, treatment and health education. We’re part of the solution to the problem of access to health care in Grand Rapids. Catherine’s serves low income and medically underserved populations.
