Student Athlete Tutoring Program

LASC’s Tutorial Program was created in order to provide Grand Valley student-athletes with appropriate academic support services that cannot be addressed elsewhere on campus. For several of our student-athletes, the combination of their class, practice, and travel schedules, does not afford them the opportunity to utilize the campus’ Tutoring Center or other services on campus. Our Tutorial Program is here to support those students with such conflicts. While we are here to accommodate the needs of our student-athletes, we encourage them to utilize all other academic support services available on campus as well. These services include but are not limited to:

Writing Center

Peer consulting services in writing courses (walk-in and by appointment)

Professor Office Hours

All students are encouraged to maintain communication with and visit their professor’s office hours when they are having academic concerns.
