GVSU Leadership Summit Scholarship

For GVSU Students Only:  There are 100 scholarships available to waive the $20 registration fee and attend Leadership Summit 2013 for free. You must be a currently enrolled GVSU student to qualify for this scholarship. Please read this entire page before proceeding to the registration page. 

  • Please note that individuals who register with this code but fail to cancel their registration prior to 2/13/13 (or send an alternatve GVSU student in their place on the day of Leadership Summit) will be charged a $20 fee to their student account. Please contact Eric Stevens in the Office of Student Life with any questions at 616-331-2345 or stevene2@gvsu.edu.
  • On the registration page, you will select "GVSU Group" and type the following code: Laker2013
  • Please note that you will be asked for your email address (please only use your GVSU email) and your G number in addition to other information.  This will be used to varify your GVSU status. 
  • Scholarships are available on a first come first serve basis. Students who have the opportunty to obtain sponsorship from their associated campus department are encouraged to utilize that option to maximize the opportunities to participate in this conference. 

This is funded by the Service and Advocacy Council and Student Senate through the Student Life Fund on December 4, 2012. A special thank you goes out to Alternative Breaks for helping to make this option available to GVSU students.

Departmental Scholarship

Serveral on-campus departments offer scholarships to student employees and specific groups of students. The following departments have scholarship available. If your affliated with one of these departments please check with them for the registration group code.

Student Employees Office of Student Life - All Student Employees
Housing and Residence Life – All Resident Assistants
Office of Multicultural Affairs - Limited number
LGBT Resource Center - Limited number 
Honors College - Limited number
