Kent & Allegan Counties and Ottawa County Michigan Works! - along with Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, The Right Place, Goodwill Industries, Talent 2025 and Lakeshore Advantage - hosted a regionally-focused employability event March 6-8. The Ready NOW! event focused on preparing qualified individuals for a successful job search and full time employment with manufacturers in West Michigan.

Ryan Takeo, from WOOD TV8, spent the three days with us at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, covering the event in detail and following a few of the job seekers. His series on the event will run every evening this week at 5:50. In addition, they will be doing some live interviews every morning this week on their Daybreak show, at about 6:20 am.
