Naxos Music Library is for GVSU music faculty and students only. Since only 15 concurrent users are allowed, we regret that it can be used only for music study, not for pleasure listening. The most comprehensive collection of classical music available online, Naxos Music Library includes the complete Naxos, Marco Polo and Dacapo catalogues of over 85,000 tracks, including Classical music, Jazz, Blues, World, Folk and Chinese music. While listening, users can read notes on the works being played, biographical information on composers or artists, and the full CD insert text with insightful information about the works, artists and composers. The collection is continually increasing, not only from the Naxos label but from other leading independent labels, benchmarked against the collection development suggestions outlined in the Music Library Association's A Basic Music Library. You can listen to whole CDs or individual tracks. You will have CD quality sound at 128K broadband, near-cd quality at 64K broadband, and FM quality at 20K (dial-up).
