Located in the Center for Health Sciences, the Frey Foundation Learning Center serves the Nursing and Health Professions programs. It houses that portion of the University Libraries collections which include medical, nursing and health sciences materials. The collections comprise the most recent ten years of both print journals and books. Earlier editions are found at Steelcase Library and Zumberge Library. Special collections include the John A. Hartford Foundation Gerontology Collection, Health Professions theses, and Nursing and Health Professions videos and DVDs.

On the second and fourth floors of the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, with a view of the city through two-story windows, the Learning Center provides modern compressed or standard shelving, comfortable tables and seating for study, computers in carrels or kiosks, free printing from computers, photocopy machines, individual or group video and DVD viewing stations, lounge chairs, and movable dry eraser boards that serve as room dividers to further accommodate and facilitate study and research. Reference service is available from either the circulation desk on the second floor or the service desk on the fourth floor. Books, theses, video and DVD collections are located on the second floor and can be checked out from the circulation desk in front of the main office. Course reserves, document deliveries, laptop computers, headphones, videos and DVDs can be obtained at the circulation desk. Print journals are located on the fourth floor, and fax service and assistance can be obtained from the service desk in front of the office.
