In the US, there are 120 million existing homes that use 22% of the nation's energy and contribute to health issues of their occupants.

The Alliance for Environmental Sustainability is scheduling a series of educational seminars in 2013 geared towards residential green remodeling.  The seminars will be one hour of education on an introduction to green remodeling opportunities, challenges, strategies, incentives, financing and case studies.  Marketing and home value will also be discussed along with potential third party certification guides and tools to successfully green an existing home.

PRESENTER:  Brett Little BS, Sustainable Business, LEED GA - Executive Director of the Alliance for Environmental Sustainability.  Brett recently purchased and had a moder green home retrofit done to his house in Grand Rapids.
